On 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect, and organisations all around the world have been (and still are) scrambling to meet the provisions and requirements within the Act. If you are assuming that it’s a European thing, and nothing to do with us here in New Zealand, you really need to come to this session.

About the Speaker


Michael Price - Senior Consultant, Axenic

Michael is a Senior Consultant at Axenic Limited. He has extensive experience providing information security and privacy risk management, assurance, and architecture services to New Zealand-based organisations. He has a particular interest in security architecture and design, and its relevance to cloud computing. He also likes working on cars, and is good at injuring himself at football.
