A week after the start of the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s decision not to jump to the front of the queue is getting support from experts – and the leader of the Opposition.

A spokesman for Ardern said on Friday border workers “who work tirelessly to keep all New Zealanders safe” were most at risk of contracting the virus and “will rightly be first to receive the vaccine”.
