New Zealand’s borders could remain closed long after Covid-19 vaccines become available, experts warn.
In the past week two promising announcements have been made in the race to find a Covid-19 vaccine, giving people hope that the freedoms offered in a pre-pandemic world may soon return.
On Monday drug maker Moderna said its Covid-19 vaccine was 94.5 per cent effective in a preliminary analysis. A week earlier Pfizer and its partner, BioNTech SE said their vaccine was found to be more than 90 per cent effective.
