Join us for a webinar with Geraint Bermingham as we explore lessons and perspectives of managing personal safety while recently living and working in Ukraine and to what extent the application of formal risk management thinking served to prepare for and manage risk in an active war zone and under near daily drone and missile attack.
Bio: Following a 20 year career as a nuclear submarine engineer, Geraint worked as a risk engineer with a number of major consultancies in Wellington before joining Air NZ as Manager Operational Risk and later Manager Risk and Performance within the company’s Internal Audit function. A founding member of RiskNZ who served as Chair for three full terms, Geraint was given life membership in 2018. He is the director of Navigatus Consulting and specialises in the management of high hazard risk and has a particular focus on the maritime and and aviation sectors.
