Air New Zealand is bringing on more crew in response to growing demand for domestic business travel, which the airline says has returned to 90 per cent of pre-pandemic levels.
It had been predicted that business travel, the biggest money earner for many airlines, would suffer a sluggish recovery from Covid-19 as employers focused on costs savings and staff health and safety, and organisations embraced video conferencing technology.
