What began as a few mysterious pneumonia cases in a Chinese city quickly spread to the rest of the country, and then the world.
At first it was classified as an outbreak and then on March 12 it became a pandemic. Then, one-by-one, countries started closing their borders to the outside world, and the word ‘coronavirus’ became part of our daily vocabulary.
