A handful of companies will be eligible for billions of dollars in Government subsidies to continue polluting the atmosphere over the coming decades, a Stuff analysis has found.
It may conflict with New Zealand’s zero carbon ambitions, some experts say, as the Government’s plan would allow some industries to have their pollution subsidised in some form beyond 2050.
